KIRSTEN'S 50TH VIDEO!
With Kirsten's landmark 50th birthday fast approachin on April 28th 2021, I'm hoping you can help in creating a couple of videos to celebrate this occasion, as we will not be able to have a gathering until we are finally thriugh the current pandemic.
It would be fantastic if you were able to contribute to one, or both of them... so here's the plan :
Video 1 - Birthday Messages
Nice and simple! If you would like to send a video message to Kirsty in any style you see fit, this would be wonderful. She'd love to see and hear from you!
Simply film a message on your phone or other video device and send it over to me, and I will create a montage for the big day!
Video 2 - Music Video
I am also attempting to make a fun video to one of her favourite songs, and need your contribution! The track in question is
National Express by Divine Comedy, a jolly and slightly daft ditty by one of her favourite artists. If you are not familiar with the song, you can check it on your streaming service of choice, or via the link below.
The idea is to get family & friends acting out some of the lines from the song... so join in!

This can be done in several ways :
The Verses
Lots of options here...
- Dancing along to the track in a fun way! (in time please!!)
- Holding a sign with a line from the song (and dancing along..)
- Lip-sync to one of the lines in the verses.
- Create a 'horn section' (fruit and veg instruments, 'air saxaphone' etc.)
- Acting a line from the song in a literal/non-literal way (make it funny)
The Chorus
This is THE IMPORTANT BIT! The chorus revolved around the
'Ba-ba-ba-da..ba-ba-ba-da'
- Lip sync (better if a bunch of you)
- Hold a sign with 'Ba-ba-ba-da..ba-ba-ba-da' and bop along..be creative!
- Be the horn section again!
- "We're going where the air is free" line - if you can get outside into a place of fresh air, run around, film that! Again, be fun..
Outro
- Lipsync the words "National Express" ! Going to need alot of these (try and do quite close up..
